You'll guide stakeholders through the department's wide range of programs, ensuring they get the answers they need with confidence and care. As the Client Service Officer, you will Provide accurate information, advice, and service delivery to stakeholders of Queensland's vocational education and training system, covering the full range of departmental programs and activities. Undertake activities to support programs, including marketing programs and services, conducting stakeholder and participant interviews, field/workplace visits, surveys, data entry and interpreting and applying legislation and departmental policies and procedures. Provide administrative and support services, using departmental information technology systems, equipment, and software applications (both standard and specialised), such as word processing, spreadsheets, records management systems, event and nomination management, and on‑line registration processes. What we are looking for The position requires an applicant who can: Demonstrate sound knowledge of, or the ability to acquire knowledge of departmental programs and services delivered through regional offices, including targeted programs to increase participation in training and skilling, and the application of administrative processes, procedures, and legislative provisions. Work effectively, both independently and in a team environment, by organising and prioritising work commitments, meeting deadlines, sharing information, and supporting colleagues. Use sound organisational and problem‑solving skills, exercising judgement within established work practices and procedures.
