Red Arrow Australia is recruiting on behalf of our client, a 100% Indigenous-owned construction and engineering contractor delivering civil, structural, mechanical, and infrastructure solutions across the mining and government sectors with a strong operational footprint in the Pilbara, our client is recognised for safe execution, operational excellence, and meaningful Indigenous participation across major resource projects. We are seeking an experienced Rigging Supervisor to join their team on a 2:1 FIFO roster. Role Overview: The Rigging Supervisor is responsible for the safe planning, coordination, and execution of rigging and lifting activities across active mine sites in the Pilbara. This is a frontline leadership role overseeing high-risk lifting operations including structural steel erection, equipment installation, crane lifts, and shutdown works. You will lead rigging crews to ensure all activities are delivered safely, efficiently, and in compliance with statutory and client requirements. Essential: 5 years’ experience in rigging operations within mining or heavy industry Proven experience supervising crews on remote mine sites Advanced Rigging (RI) Licence High Risk Work Licence (DG, RB, RI as applicable) Current Australian Driver’s Licence Ability to work 2:1 FIFO Desirable: Experience on major Pilbara sites (FMG, Rio Tinto, BHP) Section 26 / Statutory Supervisor (WA) Dogging and/or Crane Operator competencies First Aid Certificate Technical Capability: Strong knowledge of lift planning and engineered lift procedures Ability to interpret crane load charts and lifting capacities Experience with structural steel and mechanical installation Understanding of Australian Standards for lifting and rigging Ability to read structural and mechanical drawings What’s on Offer: Competitive FIFO remuneration package Exposure to major Pilbara mining construction and shutdown projects Long-term project pipeline across civil and mechanical works Career progression within a growing Indigenous-owned organisation Strong safety-focused team culture If you are a safety-driven Rigging Supervisor ready to lead high-risk lifting operations on major Pilbara projects, Please ensure your resume has TWO contactable references.
