WHAT GM³ OFFERS Options for additional superannuation contributions Annual short-term incentive bonus that recognises both your individual performance and the overall success of the business Hybrid working environment ABOUT THE ROLE Based in Wollongong and reporting to the Lead Infrastructure & Connectivity, you will provide senior hands-on support across GM³’s Microsoft cloud and hybrid infrastructure environment, including Azure, VMWare, Microsoft 365 and core on-premises platforms. This role is central to maintaining stable and secure day-to-day technology operations. You will act as the escalation point for complex issues, working closely with internal teams and support partners to diagnose problems, resolve root causes and improve platform reliability. You will support identity, endpoint and infrastructure services across multiple sites, helping ensure systems remain operational, supportable and aligned to how the business runs. Key responsibilities include, but aren’t limited to: Provide Level 3 escalation support for infrastructure incidents Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues end-to-end Support Azure infrastructure and services Administer Microsoft 365 (Exchange, Teams, SharePoint) Manage Intune and endpoint configuration Support Entra ID and Active Directory identity services Implement security controls including MFA and Conditional Access Support Windows Server and virtualisation platforms Assist with network connectivity and firewall support Work with vendors to resolve issues and implement improvements Maintain documentation and operational processes ABOUT YOU You’re a senior infrastructure engineer who takes ownership of problems and sees them through to resolution. You’re comfortable working across cloud and on-prem environments and understand that stability and reliability come before theory. You can independently investigate issues, identify root cause and implement practical fixes. You communicate clearly with both technical teams and operational stakeholders and are confident in making decisions when required. You naturally look for patterns in recurring issues, simplify where possible, and resolve the underlying cause to improve overall stability. You will have experience and demonstrate capability in the following: Azure administration in a production environment Microsoft 365 administration Inune device management Entra ID / Active Directory identity Windows Server and virtualisation Networking fundamentals (VPN, routing, firewalls) Strong troubleshooting capability Experience working with vendors or MSPs Qualifications, skills, and competencies: Relevant tertiary qualification in IT, engineering or a related discipline. Microsoft training or certification in Azure, 365 or associated modules. Scripting or automation Security configuration Multi-site environment experience Ready to make a real impact?
