About the Opportunity We are seeking an experienced Senior Medical Receptionist to join our Nerang clinic Leadership Team on a full-time, permanent basis. This is a senior-level position suited to a confident and capable medical receptionist who brings strong operational knowledge, leadership experience, and a genuine passion for supporting both patients and team members. You will play a key role in the day-to-day running of the clinic while supporting the Practice Manager and contributing to the development of our clerical team. In this role, you will: Act as the first point of contact for patients, managing face-to-face and telephone registrations, bookings, triage, and general enquiries Process payments, issue receipts, and manage billing and invoicing activities with accuracy and professionalism Use our booking systems efficiently to ensure smooth clinic operations Support administrative functions including outbound calls, data entry, and reporting Provide leadership support to the Practice Manager, assisting with workflow coordination and team guidance Act as a senior resource for the clerical team, supporting onboarding, training, and day-to-day development Lead by example, promoting high standards of customer service, professionalism, and patient care About You Along with a genuine passion for delivering outstanding customer service, you will bring: Demonstrated experience in a medical reception or healthcare administration role. Experience with radiology environment (highly regarded) Previous leadership or senior reception experience (highly regarded) Strong interpersonal skills and confidence supporting and guiding team members The ability to prioritise competing demands while maintaining a calm, professional approach High attention to detail and confidence working across multiple systems and databases Flexibility with working hours A commitment to patient-centred care and collaborative teamwork This role requires someone who can step confidently into a senior position and contribute immediately through their experience, maturity, and leadership capability.
