Air-Conditioning & Refrigeration Mechanics work with industrial, commercial, and domestic refrigeration, air-conditioning, and heating systems. They are specialists in installing, testing, servicing and repairing these systems. Refrigeration Mechanics also work in a range of settings, from installing air-conditioning systems in homes to building refrigeration units for mass food storage or transport. This is also a great gateway into gaining a dual trade into Electrotechnology once completing your Refrigeration Apprenticeship. You will undertake a variety of tasks, including: Installing commercial ductwork and mechanical systems on major sites across South Australia Reading and interpreting commercial air conditioning drawings Working independently and as part of a team to deliver high-quality installations Maintaining a strong safety-first approach on all worksites Using modern tools and systems, including Procore, to streamline daily tasks You must be team-oriented and passionate about providing a high-quality product and customer service.
