Candidates must demonstrate troubleshooting skills and advanced machine operation experience. The Role: Lead by Doing This isn't a desk job or a typical "supervisor" role. You will be on the floor, doing what you do best: ● Operating at the Highest Level: Act as the benchmark for quality and efficiency on the production line. ● Sharing the Craft: Show new team members the "Golden North Way"—teaching them the correct habits for safety, hygiene, and process from day one. ● The "Teething" Expert: Use your experience to help us navigate the start-up of a new factory, maintaining a steady pace and solving problems as they arise. The Support Package We know we are asking for your expertise, and we make the transition easy: ● 8-Week "Mastery" Period: Master our machinery at our historic Laura site before we move to the new Murray Bridge factory. ● Fully Covered Expenses: Because Laura is a 3.5-hour drive from Murray Bridge, we've got you covered with cabin accommodation, weekly meal/incidental allowances, and carpool transport. ● Professional Qualification: Complete a Certificate III in Food Processing while you work. What You Bring ● Food or Dairy Experience: A solid background in food manufacturing (specifically dairy/cold-chain is highly regarded). ● Experience Requirements: Minimum 1-2 years of food manufacturing experience is required. ● Pride in Documentation: You understand that "done right" means the paperwork is as clean as the machinery. ● A Helpful Mindset: You enjoy seeing others succeed and take pride in showing a new peer how to do a task safely and correctly. ● Work Authorisation: Australian permanent resident status is required for this position.
