This part-time role is ideal for a clinician who is passionate about supporting multicultural and migrant communities and is confident delivering brief, solution-focused counselling in more than one language. About CALDIA Rehabilitation CALDIA Rehabilitation provides culturally responsive Employee Assistance Programs (EAP), workplace rehabilitation and organisational wellbeing services across Australia. We specialise in supporting culturally and linguistically diverse (CALD) workforces through trauma-informed, ethical and evidence-based practice. About the Role You will deliver short-term, confidential counselling to employees and their immediate family members, supporting a broad range of work-related and personal concerns. Services are delivered via face-to-face (Perth-based), video and phone , with flexibility in scheduling. Key Responsibilities Provide brief EAP counselling (typically 1–4 sessions per issue) Deliver culturally safe, trauma-informed and client-centred care Support presentations including stress, anxiety, adjustment, family issues, workplace conflict and psychosocial risk Maintain accurate, timely and compliant clinical documentation Participate in clinical governance, supervision and quality improvement activities Uphold strict confidentiality and ethical practice standards Essential Requirements Tertiary qualification in Psychology, Social Work or Counselling Full registration with AHPRA , AASW or ACA/PACFA Demonstrated experience delivering counselling in an EAP, community or clinical setting Minimum of 3 years of counselling experience required Bilingual or multilingual , with fluency in at least one language spoken by African, Asian or Arabic-speaking communities (e.g. Arabic, Somali, Swahili, Amharic, Tigrinya, Dari, Pashto, Mandarin, Vietnamese or similar) Fluency in Arabic, Somali, Swahili, Amharic, Tigrinya, Dari, Pashto, Mandarin, or Vietnamese is particularly sought after for this position Strong understanding of cross-cultural practice and working with migrant and refugee communities Eligibility to work in Australia and a current Working With Children Check (or willingness to obtain) Desirable Experience working with interpreters or delivering services in-language Knowledge of workplace mental health and psychosocial risk Experience supporting clients from refugee or humanitarian backgrounds What We Offer Flexible part-time hours Competitive session-based remuneration Supportive, values-driven organisation with strong clinical governance Opportunity to work with diverse communities and make meaningful impact Ongoing professional development and supervision How to Apply Please submit your CV and a brief cover letter outlining your languages spoken and relevant experience.
