As our Finance Manager, Housing Growth, you’ll take the lead in shaping the financial strategy behind our new housing initiatives, using your expertise in modelling, budgeting and commercial analysis to guide projects from concept to delivery. In this pivotal role, you will partner closely with senior leaders, provide insights that influence major decisions, and ensure our housing growth pipeline is financially sound, sustainable and ready to meet community needs. Your key responsibilities will be to: Lead the financial modelling and pricing work that supports new housing growth bids and proposals. Build, review and validate complex financial models to support accurate, reliable decision‑making. Work closely with Housing Growth leaders to develop annual budgets, forecasts and long‑term financial plans. Ensure all project and divisional costs are captured, analysed and aligned with financial targets. Track financial performance, monitor variances and provide clear insights and recommendations. Support project teams with budgeting, cost control and processes for verifying and paying invoices. Build strong relationships with internal leaders, finance teams and external partners such as banks and advisors. Prepare and present high‑quality financial reports and Board papers to support key decisions. Requirements for success Tertiary qualification in Accounting, Finance, Commerce or a related field; CA or CPA is highly regarded. 7 years’ experience in senior finance roles, ideally with exposure to PPP projects, project finance or the community housing sector. Strong capability in financial modelling, budgeting, forecasting and commercial analysis. Proven ability to perform under pressure and deliver high‑quality work within tight bid or project deadlines. Confident in presenting financial information to executives, boards and external stakeholders. Excellent stakeholder‑management skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across multiple teams. Strong understanding of project accounting, FP&A and finance business partnering. A proactive, curious mindset with the ability to navigate complex financial environments and drive practical solutions.
