About The Role Level 3 Senior Clinical Physiotherapist position sits within the South West Brain Injury Rehabilitation Service (SWBIRS), supporting people with acquired brain injury to reintegrate into their communities. As a senior member of the multidisciplinary team, you will deliver high level, evidence-based physiotherapy assessment and intervention to adult clients through community outreach and the Transitional Living Unit, with telehealth and paediatric services provided as needed. You will operate with advanced clinical reasoning and minimal direct supervision, undertaking the following duties: Deliver comprehensive, evidence-based physiotherapy services within professional, legal, and ethical standards aligned with MLHD values. Lead and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimise patient outcomes and facilitate safe, timely discharge. Maintain accurate clinical documentation and activity statistics in accordance with KPIs and NSW Health Directives. Foster a positive workplace culture through effective communication and constructive conflict resolution. Champion cultural competence and contribute to improved health outcomes for Aboriginal people. Pursue ongoing professional development through education, clinical supervision, and performance reviews. Actively participate in MLHD Professional Discipline, Allied Health, and multidisciplinary networks. Provide clinical supervision and support to junior physiotherapists, Allied Health Assistants, and students. Contribute to service planning, quality improvement initiatives, and research. About You Our ideal candidate will have: Tertiary qualification in Physiotherapy with current AHPRA registration. Advanced clinical experience in brain injury or neurological rehabilitation with a commitment to evidence-based practice. Proven ability to manage complex community caseloads with strong time management and IT skills, including willingness to use telehealth. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including report writing. Strong negotiation, advocacy and decision-making skills with the ability to engage constructively with diverse stakeholders. Demonstrated experience leading quality improvement, research and service development activities.
