You will be responsible for the delivering quality care at an advanced level, providing leadership in your specialised field of Cancer Care in the Oncology specialists out-patients unit. The Liz Plummer Cancer Centre provides top notch Oncology services in collaboration with the Haematology, Medical Oncology, Radiation Oncology and Palliative Care clinics which are all located on the First Floor of the Liz Plummber Cancer Centre (E Block of the Cairns Hospital). About your role: Administration of systemic therapies for the treatment of Cancer and other haematological disorders. Accountable for the planning, provision and communication of nursling/midwifery care to an allocated group of clients, including the evaluation and required revision of practice based on agreed priorities, goals, plans and outcomes. Respond appropriately to sudden alterations in the health status of the patient using comprehensive nursing assessment and intervention skills.
