We’re a growing Adelaide workshop specialising in tube and pipe bending/rolling and fabrication . We’re looking for a mechanically-minded tradesperson with strong standards and good communication - someone who can think, plan, and lift the quality around them. What you’ll do Set up and run tube/pipe bending and rolling equipment (some older machines - you’ll need mechanical feel and patience) Fabrication, fit-up and assembly of steel components (jigs, alignment, distortion control) Problem-solve jobs that don’t go to plan - measure, adjust, improve the process Occasional site work - install, rectify, build or assist with on-site jobs Help improve workshop standards - planning, housekeeping, quality checks, rework reduction What we’re looking for Trade qualification - Fitter / Mechanical Trades / Boilermaker with strong mechanical aptitude Confident reading drawings - and translating them into a clean build sequence Strong measurement skills - tape, verniers, squares, levels - and a habit of checking your own work Good welding ability (MIG preferred, stick handy, TIG a bonus) - or willingness to get you there Reliability and emotional intelligence - calm, respectful, solutions-focused, can work with different personalities Bonus points Experience with tube/pipe bending, rolling, and forming Forklift/EWP/working at heights (or willing to obtain) Leading hand potential - coaching others, improving standards, quality mindset What you’ll get Steady work, good culture, and a workshop that values doing it right Autonomy - we trust capable people to run their jobs Opportunity to help shape systems, standards, and training Apply with: a short summary of your experience 2 referees.
