Fusion a major supplier of plastic piping systems, tank fabrication and installer of plastic piping systems to the mining, water treatment and chemical processing industries throughout Australia, is seeking applications from an experienced store person to be responsible for the efficient running of the distribution stores at our Perth branch located in Bibra Lake. This is a role that provides an excellent opportunity for an organised, motivated and hardworking individual. It is a hands-on, very busy role, requiring someone with a strong sense of ownership and accountability. Knowledge of plastic pipe and fittings would also be highly beneficial. Reporting to the Marketing Manager the following key tasks are required, but not limited to: Accurate picking and packing all customer orders. Ensure the correct and quality packing of goods in time for collection. Administer all paperwork and delivery notes as per defined procedures. Deliver a high level of customer service and delivery both to internal and external customers. Assist walk in trade customers with order requirements Receiving of goods for stock including unloading of containers. Raise delivery notes against the relevant accounts. Return stock to suppliers for repairs/replacement. Ensure all stock is ticketed correctly with product numbers. Maintain effective stock control at all times. Coordinate regular stock takes. Booking and liaising with transport companies. Maintaining a neat, tidy organised stores. Key requirements: Min 3-5 years stores or warehouse experience. Knowledge of plastic pipe and fittings highly regarded. Certificate 3 in Warehousing & Distribution highly regarded Excellent communication skills. Computer literacy and experience using an ERP system. Be methodical and ensure operating procedures are followed Inventory management skills Good interpersonal skills Ability to work under pressure, prioritise and multitask Forklift licence essential Manual drivers licence Fusion is a progressive growing company and will offer further training to the right candidate.
