Facilitate OT is seeking an Allied Health Assistant (AHA) to join our growing team - with a strong focus on supporting OT students who want meaningful, structured experience alongside their degree. Why this role is different As an AHA at Facilitate OT, you'll work directly alongside experienced OTs in community and clinic settings across the Illawarra and Shoalhaven. You'll contribute to real client outcomes while developing practical skills that complement your university learning. For OT students, this role offers; shadowing and joint visits with OTs Exposure to goal-setting and clinical reasoning discussions Participation in assessment set up and structured components Drafting sections of education resources and summaries for OT review Insight into quality systems, funding models and real-world service delivery You'll build early professional capability while remaining within AHA scope. About The Role As an AHA you will; Implement therapy programs under OT direction (1:1 & groups) Support assessments (set up, information gathering, scoring , report preparation support) Prepare and manage therapy resources and equipment Assist with equipment coordination and internal stock management Document sessions accurately and on time Provide professional, client-centred communication. Sound problem solving, organisational and time management skills Good written communication skills Willingness to work as part of a team and independently Familiarity with computer-based tasks such as outlook, word and excel Current Working with Children Check and National Criminal Records check.
