This is a hands-on, sleeves-rolled-up advisory role partnering directly with Regional Managers and operational leaders to lift capability, performance and engagement across your state portfolio. The Mission You’ll act as a trusted advisor to leaders across your region, delivering pragmatic HR solutions that drive workforce capability, culture and compliance. What You’ll Be Owning Strategic Partnering Partner with Regional and Store Leaders to understand workforce challenges and business priorities Build and execute people plans aligned to growth and operational targets Use workforce data to guide decisions and influence leaders Employee & Industrial Relations Manage ER matters end-to-end including performance, conduct, grievances and investigations Provide compliant, commercial advice aligned to legislation and awards Support leaders through complex and high-risk cases Leadership Coaching Coach frontline and senior leaders on people management and decision making Build capability in performance conversations, engagement and development Support leadership training and uplift initiatives Workforce Planning & Talent Partner with Talent Acquisition on hiring strategies across your portfolio Identify succession risks and build talent pipelines Support workforce planning aligned to store growth Performance & Culture Drive performance review cycles and development planning Lead engagement and retention initiatives Support action planning from engagement insights HR Projects & Change Lead restructures, change programs and org design activity Roll out HR initiatives, policies and frameworks Champion continuous improvement across HR practices HR Operations & Reporting Monitor workforce metrics including turnover, absenteeism and ER trends Ensure contracts, systems and compliance workflows are accurate Provide leadership reporting and insights Injury Management Oversee workers compensation and non-work-related injury support across your region What You’ll Bring 3–6 years HR / P&C experience in a true generalist or partnering role Strong ER/IR capability with investigation experience Background supporting multi-site or operational workforces Solid knowledge of Fair Work, NES and Modern Awards Confidence working autonomously across dispersed teams Ability to influence leaders and drive accountability Formal qualifications in HR, Business or similar are great but real-world capability matters most.
