Business Analyst is required to support the development of the organisation's integrated data environment Your new company A leading organisation undergoing significant transformation and optimisation across its systems and processes. Due to project demands, they are seeking a Business Analyst to join on a 6-month contract, with the strong possibility of extension. 6-month contract role with potential extension Daily Pay Rate: $700 Superannuation Your new role You will play a critical role in the creation of an Integrated Data Environment. This platform will provide the foundation for deploying applications essential to delivering major defence shipbuilding programs. Working closely with technical teams, stakeholders, and project leadership, you will drive requirements, documentation, testing activities, and support prioritisation of development work. Key Responsibilities: Participate in and facilitate scoping workshops to capture detailed business and technical requirements Document functional and non-functional requirements for software and data-driven projects Support creation of the IDE by analysing business processes, data flows, and system dependencies Develop clear and structured project documentation including requirements specifications, process maps and technical notes Write and execute test scripts, supporting FAT and UAT phases Support development teams through backlog prioritisation, refinement and sprint planning activities Produce training materials and user guides to support successful adoption Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to define required system functionality Ensure quality management of project deliverables through verification and validation processes What you'll need to succeed Demonstrated experience as a Business Analyst on software development and/or data projects Strong background in requirements gathering, process mapping and documentation Experience developing test cases, test scripts and supporting QA activities Exposure to Agile delivery and working closely with development teams Ability to create clear, user-friendly training and support materials Strong analytical, communication and stakeholder engagement skills Australian Citizenship is mandatory due to project and client requirements.
