Overview About the Role The role of Senior Case Manager in our Dispute Resolution Team is to provide support to our Dispute Resolution Officers with relation to the Conciliation process - both pre-conciliation and post-conference. How you'll make an impact Your responsibilities: Liaising with both injured workers and employers on the phone and then by email regarding settlements Liaising with the WIC as required Obtaining Centrelink clearances for workers Inputing current weekly earnings into the claims database for to workers who have returned to work (to ensure accurate compensation payments are made) Preparing weekly compensation reconciliation sheets for our payments team Assisting in the preparation of the WIC diary and be able to allocate workflow to the DRO and admin team as required Supporting the Dispute Resolution officers post conciliation to facilitate Conciliation outcomes within 5 days Maintaining and updating critical outcomes relating to conciliation via Worksafe systems and Excel Spreadsheets Communicating with injured workers and employers relating to next steps and actions being undertaken by GB pertinent to conciliation outcomes About you What are we looking for: Excellent time management and communication skills An aptitude for working within a fast paced role Knowledge of Personal Injury Management concepts relating to Workers Compensation Scheme in Victoria and/or Claims Management/Workers Compensation experience (ideal) Tertiary or industry specific qualifications in an appropriate discipline and/or experience in a related position What we can offer you: Attractive remuneration packaging & flexible work arrangements including Work from Home Paid Parental Leave Excellent working environment – our team at GB is renowned for it's dedicated and approachable people as well as its friendly, flexible and inclusive working environment which is built around great team support and rewarding opportunities; Exciting career – as our Company grows, so do the opportunities for our people; Opportunities for ongoing education and development through both external and internal programs delivered by our own claims training experts Service recognition awards; and employee assistance program for yourself and immediate family members.
