The Project Director is responsible for the successful delivery of capital infrastructure program across AAL and Parafield with a focus on commercial and infrastructure developments. Delivery of the capital infrastructure program across both Adelaide & Parafield Airports primarily focused on commercial developments, car parks and associated infrastructure in the landside environment Develop/Monitor/Report on the delivery of the AAL Capital Projects Master Program Provide guidance and assistance to the wider Project Delivery Team as required in relation to Project Controls and Delivery Methodology Manage and report on procurement activities to ensure adequate support, planning and governance are successfully achieved Drive the successful implementation of the AAL PMO, ensuring co-ordination across the business and within PD&D Assist in the development and maintenance of improved Project Delivery SOPs and Procedures Drive the efficient delivery of Commercial Projects with the AAL Property Team to meet market demands Develop and implement new procurement initiatives to meet commercial development requirements Assist in the development of strategic and operational plans as required Work with key stakeholders and Scheduler to establish critical program dates to incorporate into the Capital Projects Master Program Assist in the identification and implementation of Program & Portfolios of projects Provide strategic leadership, technical, operational, financial and managerial leadership for successful implementation of projects Assist in the development of funding applications across the business ensuring nominated projects align with the business strategy Communication with all internal and external stakeholders as required in a consistent fashion to ensure AAL objectives and priorities are defined and delivered; Work Collaboratively with other Senior Leaders to ensure co-ordination of projects and efficient allocation of resources across the team Other duties that may be required; Understand, work within and contribute to all Company policies and procedures; Embed Customer Service in attitudes and actions; Contribute to a safe, healthy and discrimination free workplace; Comply with the WHS Responsibility Guidelines; Comply with the Environmental Responsibility Procedure; Live the AAL values Accountability – Excellence starts with ownership Integrity – Do the right thing, even when no one’s around to see it Respect – Good humans make great workplaces Teamwork – Collaboration drives us Celebration unites us Customer Focussed – Think customer. QUALIFICATIONS Essential Diploma or Degree in Building Technology, Engineering, Project Management, Construction Management or similar discipline/or demonstrated experience Drivers Licence Desirable Program/Project Management qualifications SKILLS / EXPERIENCE Essential Experience with Major Capital Project Delivery 10 years plus experience in a leadership role managing multiple projects Technical Proficiency in industry software including Microsoft Project Experience in leading and management including guidance and coaching of team members Experience in reporting Experience in managing multiple projects in an operating environment Understanding of high-risk activities High level of Microsoft Project experience and skill Ability to develop and implement project control procedures Desirable Professional Accreditation in Project Management Experience within an airport environment or similar Experience in liaison with a diverse range of stakeholders
