Based in Surry Hills, the Sydney studio operates as a small, agile and high-performing team with strong international exposure. The Opportunity: We are seeking an Architect, Interior Architect or Interior Designer to join the Sydney studio in a pivotal, client-facing project leadership role. This position is ideally suited to a candidate who is confident engaging with senior stakeholders while remaining hands-on across design development and technical documentation. In a lean and collaborative studio environment, you will operate across multiple stages of the design process - from strategic briefing through to delivery. This is an opportunity to help bridge client strategy, design thinking and technical execution within a growing international practice. Key Responsibilities: Client Leadership & Communication (Primary Focus): Lead and participate in client meetings Present design ideas clearly and confidently Translate briefs into strong strategic and spatial direction Contribute to design narratives and presentations Build trust and instil confidence with clients and stakeholders Design Development and Project Delivery: Contribute to concept development and spatial planning Support material selection, lighting strategies and detailing Assist in preparing compelling presentation material Develop and manage project models in Autodesk Revit Produce documentation packages Consultant Management Skills Required: Proven ability to confidently engage with clients and senior stakeholders Strong communication skills and emotional intelligence Practical proficiency in Autodesk Revit Demonstrated hospitality / retail design experience Strong spatial thinking and design sensibility Ability to operate both strategically and practically Highly organised, proactive and reliable Comfortable working within a small, high-performance studio We welcome applications from emerging designers with exceptional capability at a mid-level, and those ready to step into greater leadership responsibility.
