You’ll work closely with the CEO and Managing Director and along-side the team, participate in internal strategy discussions and decisions, as well as managing your own portfolio of clients. As an R&D Tax Consultant , you’ll partner with some of Australia’s most innovative organisations across technology, biotech, and advanced manufacturing. You’ll help clients maximise their R&D outcomes while ensuring full compliance, while progressively taking on broader commercial and leadership responsibility. What you’ll be doing Partner directly with the CEO and Managing Director. Engage with clients to understand their R&D activities and provide clear eligibility advice Prepare and review compliant R&DTI claims, including technical narratives and expenditure calculations Review project documentation and translate complex technical information into clear, defensible submissions Stay across changes in R&DTI legislation and provide insights to clients and the executive team Take increasing ownership of operational, client, and team responsibilities. Contribute to broader business initiatives and help shape the future direction of the firm What we’re looking for Bachelor’s degree in Science, Engineering, Accounting, Taxation, or a related discipline 2/3 years’ experience in R&D Tax Incentive consulting or a closely related role Strong knowledge of the Australian R&DTI program and compliance requirements Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex concepts Highly analytical, detail-oriented, and well-organised Commercial mindset with leadership potential A proactive self-starter who thrives in a collaborative, high-performance environment
