Reporting to the Rebates Manager, the Rebates Analyst plays a critical role in maximising supplier rebate and commission income across the business. You will oversee calculations, validate claims, ensure timely receipt of funds, and deliver executive-level reporting to the Finance and Buying teams. This role requires strong finance capability within a retail or product-based environment, sound knowledge of supplier agreements, and exceptional attention to detail. You will also contribute to continuous process improvements that strengthen efficiency, accuracy, and commercial outcomes. As a Rebates Analyst, you'll: Oversee coordination of internal data through financial management systems (Navision) to validate processing of rebate claims Record, track and monitor rebate status, resolving any disputed amounts in collaboration with Finance and Buying teams Verify the accuracy of rebate calculations and manage supporting documentation required for claims Analyse supplier account performance trends Perform ad-hoc analyses as requested Prepare and distribute regular reports and performance statistics Proactively identify and implement solutions to improve efficiency and accuracy in rebate calculation and receipt processes Critically review procedures and systems, recommending and implementing improvements to achieve best-fit operations Verify accuracy of income against supporting documentation Reconcile commission income received to orders taken Ensure commission income is allocated to relevant business units Record, track and monitor commission status Analyse supplier account trends and raise concerns in a timely manner Perform ad-hoc commission analysis as required Respond to audit queries accurately and within required timeframes Act as a key liaison between Finance and Buying teams Ensure rebate and commission accounts are reconciled accurately Ensure income is accounted for in accordance with applicable accounting standards Complete month-end close processes for rebates and commissions You'll have - Tertiary qualification in Accounting, Business or Commerce 1 years’ finance experience in retail or product-based environments Experience working with rebate structures and supplier agreements (highly desirable) Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy Strong technology capability with the ability to operate in a paperless environment Excellent communication skills with the ability to partner across teams A collaborative team player who operates with accountability Strong understanding of internal stakeholders needs Ability to manage workload effectively, prioritise tasks, meet deadlines and respond promptly to queries Proven ability to identify and recommend process improvements Advanced MS Office skills; Navision experience desirable The ability to work in our HQ in Waterloo 5-days a week Why Winning?
