We are currently assisting them with a newly created Junior Payroll Officer position, and would love to hear from Payroll/Admin/Finance professionals that are eager to forge a career in the wonderful and rewarding world of Payroll! As this is an entry level role, no payroll exp. is required (but advantageous), as they will provide fantastic training and development, they are simply looking for someone who has given some thought to why they are interested in a payroll career! NUTS & BOLTS: Assist with end-to-end payroll processing for a high volume of clients Accurately interpret and enter payroll data provided by clients Ensure payrolls are processed by nominated deadlines Prepare payroll reports and client invoicing Process payments via ABA files through nominated bank accounts Distribute payslips within 24 hours of payment or as agreed with clients Process Superannuation and PAYG payments in line with legislation and deadlines Maintain accurate leave balances and payroll records Digitally file confidential payroll documentation Maintain strict confidentiality of payroll information at all times Ensure payroll data is shared only with authorised stakeholders Follow internal procedures to maintain appropriate system access Stay up to date with payroll legislation and compliance requirements ABOUT YOU: Some payroll (practical or studied would be ideal) however experience in Admin/Customer Service/Finance in a corporate is fine A self-starter, you’re comfortable working within a fast-paced, collaborative, startup environment.
