Head of Wellbeing and Clinical Practice Fair Foundations is seeking a strategic and values-driven Head of Wellbeing and Clinical Practice to lead the delivery of innovative, evidence-informed psychosocial and clinical programs across South West Sydney. The Impact of the Role Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer and forming part of the Leadership Team, the Head of Wellbeing and Clinical Practice plays a critical role in shaping and leading bold, evidence-informed psychosocial and clinically focused services that enhance the wellbeing of individuals, children, young people and families across the Fairfield LGA and broader South West Sydney, ensuring strong outcomes, effective governance and measurable impact. This is an opportunity for a senior clinical leader to influence organisational strategy, elevate service quality, strengthen partnerships with government and community stakeholders, and ensure clinically-focused services remain community-led, responsive and impactful. Key responsibilities include: Leading and supervising the Child and Family, Youth and Family, and Safe Futures teams, fostering a high-performing, reflective and accountable culture Driving clinical governance initiatives and embedding best-practice frameworks across the organisation Overseeing the implementation and performance of multiple funding streams, ensuring KPIs, reporting and compliance obligations are met or exceeded Providing regular clinical supervision and supporting professional development of practitioners Overseeing psychosocial assessment processes, including triage, care planning and stepped-care approaches Monitoring program outcomes in partnership with the Evidence and Impact Lead, using data to inform service improvement Managing budgets, forecasting service performance and contributing to organisational business planning Building and maintaining strong partnerships with government agencies, community organisations, and funding bodies Representing Fair Foundations at interagency forums, advisory groups and stakeholder meetings Supporting funding applications and contributing to fundraising strategy through program insight and reporting About You You are a confident and experienced clinical leader with a strong foundation in community capacity-building, mental health and psychosocial support. You bring clinical expertise, cultural awareness, and a commitment to building inclusive, responsive services that empower individuals and communities. You will have: A Masters degree in Psychology or Social Work (or higher) with either AHPRA registration or eligibility for AASW membership At least 5 years’ experience delivering community programs that support children, young people, and families, including a minimum of 2 years in a leadership role Proven experience providing clinical supervision and leading psychosocial support teams A strong understanding of therapeutic frameworks relevant to working with culturally and linguistically diverse communities Demonstrated experience conducting psychosocial assessments, developing support plans, and applying strengths-based, trauma-informed practices Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage a wide range of internal and external stakeholders Highly developed organisational and energy management skills, with the ability to prioritise and manage competing demands You will also hold: A valid NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain) A current Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain) A valid NSW Driver’s Licence Benefits of Working with the Organisation Renumeration package of $115,000 - $120,000 excluding superannuation and generous salary packaging up to $18,550 per annum 17.5% leave loading and two gifted leave days per year Access to a free Employee Assistance Program 40% childcare fee discount for eligible services Ongoing career development and training within a purpose-led organisation If you’re ready to lead with purpose and make a meaningful impact on the mental health and well-being of individuals, families, and communities, apply now to join a dedicated team committed to empowering the people of South West Sydney.
