Occupational Therapist About the job Company Description Neurolab is a specialist adult neurological occupational therapy service based in Melbourne, Australia. The organization was established to address the specific needs of individuals with neurological disabilities, bridging the gap between general community occupational therapy services. Neurolab provides home-based interventions in Melbourne's inner north, inner east, and inner south suburbs, with telehealth services available upon request. The service works closely with the NDIA and TAC to support clients in achieving their individual goals. Role Description This is a full-time hybrid role for an Occupational Therapist, based in Melbourne, VIC, with flexibility for some work-from-home days. The Occupational Therapist will work on delivering personalized assessments and implementing tailored therapies for clients with neurological disabilities. Responsibilities include conducting home-based interventions, liaising with clients' support networks, documenting progress, and potentially delivering telehealth consultations when required. Qualifications Proven expertise in Occupational Therapy and experience in neurological rehabilitation Strong communication and interpersonal skills for liaising with clients and their support networks Ability to develop and implement individualized treatment plans and interventions Proficiency in maintaining detailed case notes and reports Familiarity with NDIA and TAC funding structures and processes A relevant qualification in Occupational Therapy and registration with AHPRA Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to client care Previous experience in telehealth services is advantageous Valid driver's license and access to personal transport for home visits
