We are seeking an experienced WHS and Risk Officer to play a critical role in ensuring our venues meet all legal and regulatory obligations while upholding the highest standards of safety and risk management. In this dynamic, high‑impact role, you will partner with stakeholders across the organisation, lead proactive WHS initiatives, and strengthen governance frameworks that protect our people, customers, and assets. Key Responsibilities WHS Management System: Maintain, strengthen, and continuously improve the organisation’s WHS Management System and associated compliance frameworks. Safety Audits & Investigations: Lead safety audits, risk assessments, and incident investigations to ensure a safe, compliant, and well‑managed work environment. Risk Mitigation: Develop and implement effective risk mitigation strategies and oversee emergency planning and preparedness across the organisation. Risk & Compliance Management: Manage organisational risk registers and maintain accurate, up‑to‑date compliance documentation to support governance and regulatory obligations. ESG & Governance Support: Contribute to ESG reporting and provide support across broader organisational governance initiatives. Reporting & Insights: Prepare clear, data‑driven WHS reports, analytics, and dashboards for Executive Management to support strategic decision‑making. What We're Looking For Industry Experience: 3 years’ experience in risk, compliance, or WHS-focused roles. Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of risk frameworks, WHS legislation, and relevant compliance standards. Analytical & Organisational Skills: Excellent attention to detail with strong analytical, organisational, and documentation abilities. Stakeholder Engagement: Proven ability to influence, consult, and build effective relationships with stakeholders at all levels. Licensing Requirements: RSA & RCG competency card, or willingness to obtain. Flexibility: Ability to travel between multiple work locations as needed. Desirable Formal studies in WHS, Risk Management, or related disciplines. Experience working in hospitality, gaming, or service-driven environments.
