My client is seeking an experienced Commercial Finance Manager within a very exciting industry to partner with the Financial Controller in driving financial performance, reporting and business analysis across Sales and Operations. This is a hands-on leadership role, overseeing a small finance team while providing strategic insights that support key business decisions. Salary: Competitive | Reports to: Financial Controller | Direct Reports: 3 Key Responsibilities: Lead and manage a team of three finance professionals ensuring clear objectives, KPIs and engagement. Own the financial analysis for the division, focusing on costing and sales performance. Collaborate on budgets and forecasts, providing strategic insights and ensuring alignment with business objectives. Oversee month-end and year-end close processes, delivering timely and accurate financial statements and actionable insights to support decision-making. Develop and enhance financial processes and policies to strengthen internal controls and improve operational efficiency. Qualifications & Experience: Proven experience as a Commercial Finance Manager, leading finance teams with a focus on costing, influencing, analysis and business partnering. 10 years of accounting and finance experience. Advanced analytical skills with proficiency in financial systems and tools. CPA or CA preferred. Strong understanding of accounting principles, general ledger functions, and month-end/year-end processes. Desirable: Experience in a consumer-focused operational environment.
