You’ll drive the accuracy and integrity of Royal Rehab’s financial records and group statutory reporting, playing a key role in month-end close, balance sheet governance and audit activities. Working closely with the wider Finance team and key stakeholders, you’ll bring strong technical capability while championing continuous improvement across processes and reporting frameworks. As our D365 subject matter expert, you’ll also support COA maintenance, budgets, forecasts and report optimisation. Key responsibilities include: Prepare and review monthly management accounts, including income statements, balance sheets and key performance drivers across multiple business units. Lead accurate and timely month-end and year-end close, including journals, accruals, prepayments, intercompany transactions and balance sheet reconciliations in D365. Support budgeting and forecasting processes, delivering meaningful variance analysis and ensuring timely system uploads for performance reporting. Maintain the integrity of the D365 general ledger and reporting structures, contributing to system enhancements and process improvements. Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements (including NDIS), and support internal and external audits, BAS and FBT reporting. Partner with operational stakeholders to provide financial insights, manage costs, support funding and grant reporting, and mentor junior team members. About you We seek a self-motivated and friendly individual with: Essential Criteria: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or CA certification is strongly preferred. Minimum of 5 years of accounting experience, with exposure to health or non-profit organisation highly desirable. Knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting standards. Proficiency in financial management software and advanced Excel skills. Experience with NDIS financial management and reporting is highly desirable. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively. High level of attention to detail and commitment to accuracy. Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Strong ethical standards and commitment to confidentiality.
