Experienced Welder – Heavy Industrial Location: Kings Park Full-Time | Early Start | Overtime Available Pay Rate : $48 per hour OT Penalties Our client is a well-established and respected leader in the Recycling Services industry, committed to environmental sustainability and responsible waste management across Australia. Due to continued growth, they are seeking a trade-qualified and certified Welder to join their team based in Kings Park. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who takes pride in quality workmanship, works safely, and enjoys being part of a hardworking team. Working Hours Monday to Friday: 5:00am – 3:30pm Saturday: 6:00am – 12:00pm About the Role You will be responsible for maintenance, repairs, and fabrication work across bins, trailers, and plant equipment. Daily Duties Include: Attending and participating in toolbox talks Following site safety procedures including Take 5s Repairing skip bins (holes, lifting pins, doors, bowed sections) Pad welding components for re-machining Basic fabrication work Operating grinders and workshop tools Oxy cutting Additional / Project Work: Wear plate replacement on mobile plant Crack repairs on large fixed plant equipment Hard-facing and weld build-ups Repairing large trailers Assisting with new equipment installations Travelling to other company sites as required Skills & Experience Required Trade qualification / Welding certification (required) Strong MIG and Stick welding experience (essential) TIG welding experience (advantageous) Oxy cutting experience (LPG Oxy systems) Ability to read and interpret basic drawings Strong focus on safety and quality Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented Weld Test Required at Interview What’s on Offer $48 per hour Stable, full-time hours Overtime opportunities Long-term opportunity with a respected industry leader Supportive team environment Involvement in large-scale equipment and plant projects If you are a certified welder looking for a long-term opportunity with consistent hours and solid workshop work, apply now with your resume.
