This is a hybrid role; 3 days in the Sydney office Department People & Culture Employment Type Permanent - Full Time Location Sydney (Australia) Workplace type Hybrid Reporting To Liam Black Key Responsibilities Strategic Alignment: Partner with senior leadership to develop and execute People strategies that directly support overarching business goals. Organisational Design: Provide strategic counsel on workforce planning, structural changes, and succession planning to ensure the business scales effectively. Performance and Development: Drive performance management programmes, championing a culture of continuous feedback, learning, and professional growth. Leadership Coaching: Coach and mentor managers at all levels to enhance their leadership capabilities and help them navigate complex team dynamics. Employee Relations: Act as an escalation point for complex employee relations issues, resolving them fairly, thoroughly, and in compliance with employment law. Data-Driven Insights: Analyse key People metrics (such as turnover, engagement, and diversity data) to identify trends and implement proactive, data-informed solutions. Change Management: Lead communication and change management initiatives to guide teams smoothly through periods of rapid growth or structural shifts. Skills, Knowledge and Expertise Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Psychology or a related field. 8 years of experience in People & Culture advisory or business partnering roles, ideally within the technology sector. In-depth knowledge of Australian employment laws and regulations. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders. Proven experience in managing projects and delivering initiatives within a dynamic environment. Desirable Previous experience working in an ASX-listed company. Strong proficiency with People systems and data analytics for reporting and insights. Experience working with employees based in Singapore, Philippines, and Japan.
