We are partnering with a dynamic local council in Sydney, seeking a Management Accountant to join their team! This is a hybrid working role with 2 days in the office after a settling in period. Role Overview This role provides comprehensive budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and analysis support for the Council. It requires a detailed understanding of the factors influencing the financial performance of all council services. As a Management Accountant, you will assist with preparing key deliverables, including the annual budget, operating and capital expenditure, the long-term financial strategy, quarterly reports, annual reports, and performance monitoring. Support the preparation of annual budgets, quarterly budget reviews, and detailed financial analysis Contribute to operating and capital expenditure planning and performance monitoring Key Qualifications Local government experience is essential Tertiary qualifications in accounting.
