About this role: HR Officer actively contributes to a wide range of HR activities including but not limited to recruitment and selection, learning and development, employment relations, staff wellbeing, HR data analysis and change management. Job tasks and responsibilities: Maintains relevant human resources records to ensure accuracy and availability of information. Regularly monitors the shared HR Inbox, triages enquiries and action items. Provides administrative support to all aspects of the employee life cycle including but not limited to recruitment & selection, learning and development, performance management, grievances, disciplinary action and change management. Drafts HR correspondence, including employment contracts, variation letters, and other essential documents as required. Provide operational HR advice to internal stakeholders to assist them in understanding HR processes. Assist in the regular review, development and implementation of the College’s HR policies, procedures, guidelines and HR-related systems and documentation with an aim to maintain compliance and achieve industry best practice. Conducts research in relation to existing and new HR projects. Knowledge Skills & Abilities: Knowledge of best practices in Human Resources administration, document management and customer service. Intermediate knowledge of employment law including the Fair Work Act, modern awards and enterprise agreements. Foundational level knowledge of project management methodologies. Excellent administration, customer service and communication skills. Ability to collaborate with others and work effectively in a team environment. Qualifications & Certifications: Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources, Business Administration, Education or equivalent work experience.
