Job Description What’s the role? The Executive Manager – Governance is a senior leadership role responsible for overseeing risk governance across the Business & Wealth Division. Reporting to the Head of Divisional Business Controls and Monitoring, the role provides strategic oversight of risk frameworks, governance processes, and executive and board-level reporting. This role will be crucial for key risk committees and forums, ensuring effective decision-making, regulatory compliance, and alignment with enterprise risk standards. The role will partner closely with senior leaders across Business, Wealth, Risk, and Control functions to drive consistent governance practices, manage operational risk matters, and support the delivery of risk strategy. Key responsibilities include managing committee operations, producing high-quality executive papers, maintaining risk registers and dashboards, and ensuring effective monitoring, reporting, and escalation of risk and control issues. What do I need? Extensive experience in risk governance, operational risk, or business controls within a complex financial services or regulated environment. Demonstrated capability supporting senior executives and Board/Executive Risk Committees, including preparation of high‑quality executive and board papers Strong background in risk frameworks, controls, issue management, and risk reporting, with experience maintaining risk registers and dashboards. Proven ability to partner and influence senior stakeholders across business, risk, compliance, and control functions to drive consistent governance outcomes. Experience leading governance forums, committee secretariat functions, and regulatory or audit-related activities, with a strong focus on accuracy, accountability, and compliance Why join us?
