The Role You will play a key role in supporting the agency’s planning and public reporting requirements. Working within the Corporate Operations Branch, you will assist with high-level coordination and the preparation of vital parliamentary materials. Your core responsibilities will include: Reporting & Planning: Assisting with the coordination of the annual reporting cycle, Portfolio Budget Statements, and the Corporate Plan. Parliamentary Support: Preparing Ministerial briefings, Departmental correspondence, and responses to Parliamentary Questions on Notice. Senate Estimates: Coordinating input from senior staff to prepare comprehensive Senate Estimates briefing papers. Secretariat & Procurement: Providing high-level secretariat support to senior executives and offering internal guidance on Commonwealth Procurement Rules. Stakeholder Engagement: Building and maintaining productive relationships with internal and external stakeholders. About You To be successful in this position, you should be a proactive communicator with a strong eye for detail and the ability to manage complex tasks. Requirements & Qualifications: Eligibility: Must be an Australian Citizen and able to obtain/maintain a Baseline security clearance. Experience: Previous experience in the public service, particularly with parliamentary processes, is highly preferred. Education: Tertiary qualifications in health policy, social science, government administration, or a related discipline are highly desirable. Technical Skills: Proficiency in managing complex spreadsheets and developing guidance templates.
