Job Description: We are looking for an experienced full-time motor mechanic to perform a range of car repairs, diagnostics, and daily mechanical tasks. This role requires strong technical skills and the ability to communicate effectively in both English and Chinese, as approximately 80% of our customers come from both Asian and local backgrounds. Key Responsibilities: ·Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults in vehicle engines and parts, utilizing diagnostic tools and computer systems as needed. ·Dismantle and remove engine assemblies, transmissions, steering mechanisms, and other components, checking parts for wear and damage. ·Repair or replace worn or defective parts, reassemble mechanical components, and consult service manuals as required to ensure accuracy and performance. ·Perform regular maintenance services, including oil changes, lubrication, engine tune-ups, and other services to enhance vehicle performance and comply with environmental and pollution regulations. ·Reassemble engines and vehicle parts after repairs and conduct tests to verify proper functionality. ·Test and adjust mechanical parts after repairs to ensure smooth operation and safety. ·Inspect vehicles, issue roadworthiness certificates, and detail any additional work required to meet roadworthy standards. ·Respond to vehicle breakdown service calls, providing on-site support and repairs when necessary. Job Requirements: At least 1 year of automotive repair experience Minimum AQF Cert III or higher in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology Knowledge of all aspects of car maintenance and repair Ability to diagnose and resolve complex automotive issues independently Good communication skills in English, with fluency in Chinese preferred Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain a positive attitude May be required to work at least 6 days per week, depending on the business needs.
