Key Responsibilities: • Mig and Tig welding across various materials • Read and interpret drawings & specifications to meet customer needs • Section cutting, joining, polishing, fabricating, and welding using machinery and hand tools • Build equipment from scratch with precise alignment, bolting & riveting • Clean, grind and polish work before paint or galvanising • Select, clean, and prepare metal stock • Use hand tools, flame cutting torches and metal cutting machines • Shape and bend metal sections using machines and manual tools • Position steel for joining using measuring devices and hand tools • Join metal sections using welding, bolting, and riveting techniques • Inspect welds for bead width, penetration, and accuracy • Finish products by cleaning, polishing, and filing • Clean and smooth welds via filing, chiselling, and grinding Mandatory Requirements: • Valid Driver’s Licence • Minimum 2 years steel and welding experience • Certificate III or higher in a relevant trade Benefits: • Trade tools supplied • Work with a respected, long-standing family business • Opportunity for skill development and career growth • Based in Kingsgrove area – accessible Sydney location If the above sounds like you and you’re ready to join a quality focused team, please send your CV to:
