The trainer will also be required at occasions to conduct offsite training as well. The Role: As a Gas Fitter Traine r, you will be responsible for delivering accredited gas subjects, focusing primarily on Certificate III in gas fitting, Service Type A gas appliances, Restricted gas service license, Restricted electrical (optional), and potentially Type B gas appliance courses for license training outcomes. Responsibilities: Deliver accredited gas subjects, with a focus on Certificate III in gas fitting, Service Type A gas appliances, Restricted gas service license, and potentially Type B gas appliance courses. Provide high-quality instruction and training to future tradespeople. Foster a positive and stimulating learning environment. Develop and update training materials, resources, and assessments. Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback. Stay updated on industry regulations, standards, and best practices. Collaborate with colleagues to enhance training programs and curriculum Qualifications: Genuine passion for raising industry standards and imparting knowledge Positive attitude, solution-oriented mindset, and dedication to exceeding minimum standards Hold trade licenses or accreditation in Gas Fitting, Type A gas fitter, or similar Preferably possess a Restricted or full electrical license Proficiency in Type A appliance service and installation, and Type B as well. Excellent written and verbal communication skills Time management skills Proficient in MS Office and other software programs Certificate IV in training and assessment (TAE40116/TAE40122) Restricted electrical licence (desired) Why choose to work with us?
