Your new role In this role, youll support a new type of highefficiency compute facility designed to run dense AI workloads with far less energy than traditional data centres. Youll work with a small, highperforming group known for delivering cuttingedge infrastructure across the AsiaPacific region, gaining handson experience with fastmoving, nextgeneration technology powering the future of AI. Maintain & repair mechanical, electrical and computing systems (preventative & reactive) Conduct daily/weekly/monthly inspections, routine checks and troubleshooting Assist with deployments & commissioning: installs, modifications, fluid handling (fill/drain), load bank setup, and basic network cabling Perform basic fault-finding, reset equipment (circuits/pumps), remove/repair faulty components, and uphold site cleanliness & OHS Keep accurate documentation, logs and service records Provide timely stakeholder updates to operations/project teams Support inventory & quality control on tools, spares and postwork checks What you'll need to succeed 3 years in a handson maintenance/service role Technical certification/trade (or equivalent) Proven leadership capabilities Strong mechanical aptitude with practical problem-solving skills Solid communication, teamwork and the ability to work independently Electrical knowledge is beneficial Unrestricted driving licence White Card (or willingness to obtain) Familiarity with data centre environments is a plus What you'll get in return Attractive salary package Bring transferable skills and expand into a specialised field Structured onboarding with buddy training (first 46 weeks) and inhouse upskilling across mechanical systems, computers, and servers Learn fast and build new skill sets in a unique facility Genuine career progression in a highgrowth environment What you need to do now Please hit apply now, or for a confidential discussion please call Kate Gravina on 0477 957 379 or email your CV to Kate.Gravina@hays.com.au2982686
