About the Opportunity Reporting to the Senior Bid & Project Manager, the Bid Manager plays a key role in shaping ASC’s future pipeline by leading the development of high‑quality bid submissions aligned to organisational objectives and the Multi-Class Sustainment (MCS) Strategic Plan. The Bid Manager will lead the end‑to‑end development of high‑quality bid submissions and Contract Change Proposals. You will work closely with Program Directors and the Commercial Team and cross- functional teams to qualify opportunities, shape win strategies and ensure all submissions meet customer and contractual requirements. You’ll coordinate stakeholders, manage tight deadlines, support scope and estimation activities, and drive continuous improvement through debriefs and lessons learned. This is a full-time opportunity based at either our Osborne site in SA or Henderson in WA Responsibilities Support the continuous improvement of the MCS opportunity management process to support pre-contract activities. Analyse and communicate bid requirements and provide advice to key stakeholders across the business. Lead the bid management aspects of bids, ensuring schedules and key milestones are achieved. Support the development and maintenance of the bid management lessons learned database. Support in developing the bid capability within MCS. Establishing and maintaining strategic relationships with key stakeholders to achieve best outcomes for ASC, its programs and Customer. About you Tertiary qualifications, such as Finance, Commerce, Accounting or Project Management and/or relevant business industry experience 4 years bid coordination or management experience and sound knowledge of estimating, planning, scheduling and work breakdown structures Experience building strong relationships and delivering customer centric solutions, and working collaboratively with others to meet shared objectives Proven experience in stakeholder engagement ensuring all stakeholders and customers of the business are aligned on what the project priorities are Excellent time management and organisational skills, coupled with excellent negotiation and persuasion skills Demonstrated experience meeting tight deadlines, aligning bids to contractual requirements and demonstrating commercial acumen. Eligibility This role requires a current National Police Clearance, an Australian Defence Security Clearance and an ability to access protected US defence technology. Your eligibility for this role is dependent on you obtaining and maintaining such clearances and approvals.
