Location: Port Adelaide, SA Clearance: Minimum NV1 About the Role The Level 2 Model Based Systems Engineer supports the delivery of MBSE capabilities within ASAs Nuclear-Powered Submarine program. This role contributes to systems modelling activities under supervision and assists in the development and refinement of digital engineering artefacts. Key Responsibilities Support development of MBSE system models. Assist in modelling technical data sources and exchange pathways. Contribute to documentation supporting sustainment and governance. Support augmentation of existing models. Assist in stakeholder engagement workshops and data capture activities. Maintain model artefacts in approved Defence systems (DPN/DSN compliant environments). Ensure adherence to security, probity and Defence governance requirements. Experience & Qualifications Tertiary qualification in Systems Engineering or relevant discipline (or equivalent experience). Working understanding of MBSE methodologies. Familiarity with SparxEA, Cameo or similar modelling tools. Experience in structured engineering environments preferred. Exposure to Defence projects desirable. Authority & Autonomy Works under supervision of Level 3 and Level 4 engineers. Contributes technical outputs within defined tasking. Develops practical MBSE application capability.
