Description Complete monthly balance sheet reconciliations Assist with BAS preparation, calculation, and lodgement Prepare and post month‑end journals Oversee superannuation calculations, including management of bounce backs Support FBT and Fuel Tax Credit calculations and submissions Assist the finance team with year‑end processes and reporting Ensure accuracy, compliance, and timely completion of all financial tasks Profile A successful Financial Accountant should have: CA/CPA qualification Proven experience as a Financial Accountant within government or council setup Strong technical accounting knowledge across month‑end and year‑end Experience with BAS, FBT, and superannuation obligations High attention to detail and excellent reconciliation skills Ability to work both autonomously and collaboratively TechOne experience (highly preferred) Job Offer Opportunity to work in a public sector organisation in the accounting and finance industry.
