Description Manage the full month‑end, half‑year and year‑end accounting process for a designated division Deliver end‑to‑end financial control, including high‑quality balance sheet reconciliations Ensure compliance with BAS, AASB, FBT and payroll obligations Provide commentary on monthly financial performance, variances, and key balance sheet movements (Fixed Assets, WIP, etc.) Prepare cash flow forecasts, budgets and financial projections Assist in preparing Half‑Year and Annual Statutory Reports Support external audit requirements Strengthen communication between finance, operations, and other stakeholders Identify and implement process improvements across month‑end activities Participate in maintaining the accounting system and support the planned ERP implementation Provide financial insights to non‑finance stakeholders Profile A successful Senior Financial Accountant should have: CA/CPA qualified Strong technical accounting knowledge with solid understanding of compliance frameworks Advanced Excel proficiency; BI tools (e.g., Power BI) highly regarded Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage non‑finance stakeholders Strong attention to detail, analytical mindset, and ability to work in a fast‑paced environment Experience mentoring or supporting junior finance staff is advantageous Job Offer Competitive salary package Opportunity to work with a respected name in the industrial and manufacturing sector.
