About the Role This is a high-impact leadership role for a driven sales leader who thrives in fast-paced, high-growth environments. As Director, Sales - SMB , you'll lead a team of Account sales professionals to aggressively grow revenue for UKG's HCM solutions across the SMB market. You'll set the pace, raise the bar, and build a winning sales culture focused on execution, accountability and consistent overachievement. This role reports to the GVP Sales, APAC. What you'll do Own and consistently exceed ambitious annual revenue targets. Define and execute a high-performance sales strategy that drives rapid, sustainable growth. Build, coach and lead a best-in-class SMB sales team with a strong performance mindset. Drive rigorous pipeline discipline, forecasting accuracy and deal execution. Establish non-negotiable sales standards across pipeline management, account planning and reviews. Actively engage with key customers and strategic deals to accelerate growth. Create a customer-first, performance-driven culture grounded in UKG's values of United, Kind and Growing. Run regular, data-driven performance reviews to remove blockers and accelerate results. Foster strong collaboration across sales, pre-sales and operations to maximise impact. Deliver clear market insights and growth recommendations to senior leadership. About you Required 2 year leading sales or presales teams in a high-growth environment. 5 years selling complex solutions to C-level executives or equivalent. Proven ability to consistently exceed revenue targets. Based in Sydney. Preferred SaaS sales leadership experience, ideally in WFM, HCM or Payroll. Demonstrated success scaling SMB sales teams. Strong commercial acumen with a metrics-driven approach. Experience operating effectively in matrixed organisations. High emotional intelligence with the ability to hire, onboard and rapidly develop top sales talent. Strong negotiation and executive-level communication skills. Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
