We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Industrial Sewer to join our client’s team on a permanent basis , working from their Brisbane warehouse. The role involves assembling heavy-duty textile products such as tarpaulins, industrial covers, and safety equipment using industrial sewing machines. Training for those who are enthusiastic, hands-on, and willing to learn. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a warehouse background looking to step into a skilled and rewarding career. Key Responsibilities Operate industrial sewing machines to assemble and stitch products to specification. Read patterns, measure materials, and follow work orders accurately. Inspect products for defects at all stages of production and carry out repairs where required. Organise sewing supplies, maintain workstations, and ensure a safe working environment. Perform basic maintenance and minor repairs on sewing machines. Adhere to workplace safety standards and report incidents promptly. Support colleagues by sharing knowledge and assisting with training where required. Keep the warehouse work area clean and tidy at the end of each shift. Strong attention to detail with steady hands and good eyesight. Physically capable of lifting 25–50 lbs and working on your feet for extended periods.
