The Opportunity: We’re seeking a motivated and technically skilled Leading Hand – Test Station to support and lead the Darra Test Station team. This is an excellent opportunity for internal team members looking to step up, strengthen their leadership capability, and play a key role in maintaining the safety, quality and reliability of our Test Station operations. In this role, you’ll provide hands‑on leadership to Test Station personnel, ensure cylinders are safely tested, processed and released, and contribute to the overall operational excellence of the Darra site. What You'll Be Doing: Lead, motivate and coach Test Station personnel to meet performance and compliance expectations Ensure safe and efficient cylinder handling, inspection, testing, processing and release in line with Australian Standards, GMP and CMS procedures Coordinate daily operations, toolbox talks, workflow and plant/equipment maintenance for the Test Station Support customer needs through effective communication, service delivery and problem‑solving Collaborate with the Filling Station to ensure stock readiness, traffic changes and operational alignment Maintain strong quality control through compliance with QMS, GMP, audits and continuous improvement activities Apply LEAN principles, support knowledge‑sharing, and document technical know‑how for development of team members Identify hazards, uphold WHS standards and maintain an organised, safe work area What You'll Bring: Experience in gas manufacturing or supply operations, with strong mechanical or trade background preferred Proven technical capability in cylinder testing and troubleshooting Leadership experience, including coaching, performance discussions and work allocation Knowledge of dangerous goods handling, storage and transportation Strong PC and reporting skills, including operational systems and handheld devices Effective communication and problem‑solving skills Current Forklift licence; HR licence desirable Why This Is a Great Step: Opportunity to grow into a more senior technical/leadership role Hands‑on influence over Test Station operations, quality and safety Exposure to continuous improvement and LEAN processes Direct impact on customer service and operational compliance How To Apply : If you're ready to take the next step in your Coregas career, we want to hear from you.
