Operate an overhead crane and forklift Accurately pick and pack orders Load and unload trucks for customers or our drivers Promote and contribute to a safe workplace Operate off-coil machines to shape and cut reinforcing bars and mesh Input job tags on machines to produce steel products To be mechanically minded is a bonus! Day shift from 5am to 2.06pm, $36.40 to $38/hr depending on experience and licences All positions commence as casual with view to permanent transition after 6 months. Crane operators: no licence required as under 10 tonnes, 2 weeks' training provided on site. Machine operators: load 4 tonne wire coils (12/16/20mm diameter) and steel reinforcing bar through machine (2-12m lengths) Need to be able to read a tape measure and enter info into machine computer. IMPORTANT: All employees will be required to pass a pre-employment medical, including drug & alcohol screen and hearing assessment prior to commencement!
