Quick Overview Role: B1 LAME City/Airport: Adelaide, YPAD Shift: 38-hour work week Terms: Full-time Role Description This role is responsible for completing scheduled and unscheduled Line or Base Maintenance tasks in accordance with applicable airworthiness instructions, MOE requirements, procedures manuals, and CAMO regulations, ensuring all maintenance documentation and certifications are accurately completed. The role includes assisting and supervising AMEs, Apprentices, and TAs; maintaining proper housekeeping and compliant storage of aircraft parts and materials; ensuring personal tool control and accountability; adhering to FRMS and WHSMS policies; supporting SMS, QMS, and a Just Culture; and carrying out any additional duties as directed by the Leading Hand, SBE, or BMPS. Essential Requirements Certificates / Licence: Certificate IV in Aeroskills or equivalent aircraft maintenance engineering apprenticeship training Preference will be given to applicants holding type ratings on: BAE 146, DHC-8-Q400, Embraer E190 Ability to undergo and pass a pre-employment Drug and Alcohol test Ability to obtain an Aviation Security Identification Card Ability to obtain Airside Driver’s Licence Hold a current Aircraft Maintenance Engineering License issued by Civil Aviation Safety Authority (CASA) Australia with the applicable B2 categories. Work Rights: Citizen or Valid Work Rights Skills: Strong technical troubleshooting and problem-solving capability. Confidence using aviation maintenance software and tooling.
