We repair and maintain motors and generators for the mining and power generation sectors across Western Australia. About the Opportunity We are seeking a motivated Apprentice Fitter/Machinist to join our workshop team. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands on experience, work with experienced tradespeople, and build a long-term career in a specialised mechanical trade. What You’ll Be Doing As an apprentice, your responsibilities will include: Disassembling electric motors and generators Performing mechanical inspections Cleaning and preparing parts Reassembling motors and generators Painting components and finished assemblies Preparing completed products for despatch Machining components using lathes, drills, and milling machines Assisting with dynamic balancing of rotating components General workshop and yard housekeeping duties Who We’re Looking For You will be a great fit if you are: Mechanically minded and eager to develop your technical skills Respectful, team oriented, and easy to get along with Willing to learn from experienced staff and take direction Physically capable and comfortable getting hands on (and a bit dirty!) We value attitude and willingness to learn just as much as prior experience.
