Description About the Role Strait Link Logistics connects Tasmania to the mainland through an integrated blue-water and landside supply chain. We’re now looking for a strong operational leader to take ownership of our Southern Tasmania transport operations This is not a desk job. This is hands-on operational leadership in one of Tasmania’s most critical freight corridors. Primary Duties and Responsibilities Lead daily transport operations across the region Drive DIFOT performance and service consistency Align fleet control and fleet support into one cohesive team Optimise fleet deployment, route planning and productivity Strengthen compliance with NHVR, CoR and fatigue management Partner with Sales and Operations to align demand and capacity Manage regional labour, maintenance and subcontractor spend Desired Skills and Experience Who We're Looking For You’re an experienced transport leader who understands heavy vehicle operations and the realities of Tasmanian freight. You bring: Proven experience leading transport or fleet operations Strong knowledge of HVNL, CoR and fatigue management A track record of improving service reliability and operational KPIs Financial and commercial acumen Confidence leading through change and integration The ability to build accountability and lift team capability Experience across merged or integrated operations will be highly regarded.
