The key duties of the position include What you will do as the HR System Administrator & Senior Workforce Reporting Officer The AER has procured TechnologyOne for its Enterprise Resource Planning, including payroll and other Human Resources modules. Working under limited direction and exercising considerable discretion about how tasks are completed, the HR System Administrator and Senior Workforce Reporting Officer will apply their advanced payroll knowledge to administer, report on and continuously improve the AER's HR system. The role bridges operational payroll delivery with system configuration, testing, reporting, and controls. You will also: Be the system administrator for the HR/payroll system (TechnologyOne). Assess and resolve payroll anomalies arising from system issues, incorrect data, or how employment conditions have been interpreted. Coordinate and undertake the fortnightly pay run process and reporting to ensure payroll is accurate, reconciles and complies with all requirements including Single Touch Payroll (STP) reporting and other relevant legislation and industrial instruments. Identify, plan and undertake system upgrades, patches, and testing as required. Coordinate and execute parallel pay runs, system testing, and reconciliations during implementation of TechnologyOne before 1 July 2026. Develop and maintain system documentation, checklists and standard operating procedures for the payroll procedures. Develop, validate, and deliver payroll and recurring workforce reports for internal and external stakeholders.
