Are you an experienced Industrial Spray Painter , skilled in two-pack spray painting of heavy-duty equipment, looking for your next full-time role? Our client, a leading truck-trailer & dumper-truck body manufacturer in Melbourne’s eastern suburbs, requires two qualified spray painters for new build trailers, and they need someone who can hit the ground running. Key Responsibilities Professionally sand, pre-prep and mask truck chassis, trailer bodies and dumper truck components. Colour-match and mix paints to the trailer build specification. Apply primer and finishing coats using HVLP spray-gun equipment (two-pack system). Interpret workshop drawings, blueprint specifications and build sheets. Prioritise and manage your workload to meet production deadlines. Work autonomously or as part of the production team when required. Demonstrate mechanical aptitude and ensure a safe, clean workshop environment. What we’re looking for: To succeed in this role, you must have: Minimum 3 years’ experience in industrial two-pack spray painting (truck trailers, chassis, agricultural or heavy equipment preferred). Proven track record working on truck bodies, trailers and/or heavy-duty vehicle components . A valid Spray Painter Trade Qualification . Current right to work in Australia and be based in Melbourne, VIC. Two recent reference contact details from past employers. Strong attention to detail, quality-driven mindset and ability to interpret mechanical drawings/specs.
