About the Role We’re looking for a dedicated IT Field Support Technician to join our Field Support team, based in Newstead-QLD, Five Dock-NSW or Mount Waverley-VIC but frequently travelling to clinics across the state. In this dynamic role, you’ll provide outstanding customer service and hands-on IT support to clinic staff and doctors across our network. You'll also play a key role in the delivery of new IT projects, contributing to the ongoing innovation and improvement of healthcare services. What You’ll Do Travel across the state (and occasionally interstate) to deliver onsite IT support, resolve incidents, complete installations, and assist with project deployments. Provide end-user support for desktop and clinical environments, including computers, laptops, peripherals, mobile devices, telephony systems, and related hardware. Contribute to IT projects such as new clinic setups, RIS/PACS upgrades, system enhancements, and hardware/software rollouts, offering both technical input and hands-on implementation. Maintain and support core infrastructure and clinical systems, including SOEs, Active Directory, RIS/PACS, and associated applications. Manage incidents, service requests, and escalations in line with service management processes. Work collaboratively with clinicians, operational staff, vendors, and internal IT teams to ensure reliable service delivery. Provide after-hours and weekend support as required for project activities and critical system issues. What We’re Looking For 3 or more years’ experience in IT field support or service desk, ideally in a healthcare setting. Strong problem-solving, diagnostic, and customer service skills. Experience with Windows environments, SOEs, imaging tools, Active Directory, and general desktop support. A proactive and collaborative team player with excellent communication skills. Full, unrestricted Driver’s Licence and own reliable vehicle. Willingness to travel regionally and stay overnight as needed. Flexible to work after hours and weekends, particularly during project implementations or clinic support periods. Why Join I-MED?
